    Young Illustrators Award 2014


    The Young Illustrators Award 2014 is calling for submissions!

     

    The Young Illustrators Award is the most renowned competition awarding creativity and innovation in personal contemporary illustration and graphics. It encourages and supports designers in their artistic practice and offers them an international and worldwide recognized platform. Awarding talent in three different categories, the Young Illustrators Award indicates current trends in graphics and illustration.
     

    Submissions can be handed in from 10th of February 2014 until the 31st of July 2014
     

    The nominees will be awarded by an international jury consisting of leading art directors, experts and editors.
     

    The short-listed artists will be announced on the Illustrative website in the beginning of September 2014.

    Polish Illustration Focus

    Illustrative is pleased to announce that the „Polish Illustration Exhibition at Illustrative 2013“ will be the guest of honour of the festival issue of this year. Being part of the main exhibition of Illustrative 2013, this section is organized and curated in cooperation with ILLO, the Association of Applied Graphic Designers STGU and the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation. The selected Polish artists and works give an impressive insight into the noticeable revival of the Polish illustration and graphic arts visible in all media in Poland for the past decade.
