Rebecca Maeve Manley was born in England in 1986. She holds a BA of the Manchester School of Art. She works and lives in Manchester.
…in Bookart: Miriam Frei
MIRIAM FREI was awarded the first prize in BOOKART for her book, which is presented as part of an installation at Illustrative 08. The work is, on the one hand narrative, yet approaches the medium that is book in an innovative way.
Miriam Frei was born in Schaffhausen/Switzerland in 1978. Since finishing her studies in Zurich she now lives in Zurich and Rotterdam.

Accordingly, JENNI ROPE won the ANIMATION prize, because her abstract animations interpret the possiblities of the medium with their moving expressionist pictures.
Jenni Rope was born in Finland in 1977. She graduated in Graphic Design from the University of Arts and Design Helsinki.

CHRISTIAN MONTENEGRO received the PRIX SWATCH for his creative work as an illustrator over the past few years.
Christian Montenegro was born in Argentina in 1972. He graduated in Graphic Design of the University of Buenos Aires.
