Illustrators and agencies met in Berlin: ILLUSTRATIVE 2009 turned into a one-day creative fair on Saturday, October 17th.

International agencies, online communities, illustrator clubs, and creative magazines came together for the "Illustrative Portfolio Reviews" at the Villa Elisabeth in Berlin-Mitte.

Illustration agencies from all around the world showcased their portfolios and brought their illustrators together with agencies and the media. Representatives of large advertising agencies, renowned publishing houses, art directors, editors and other representatives of the media had the chance to discover new talents.

A rare symbiosis combining art and business surprised the visitors of "Illustrative Portfolio Reviews". At this one day event, accompanied by workshops and lectures, the exhibiting agencies and communities presented the portfolios of their illustrators and graphic designers. The representatives of the advertisement and media industry had the chance to get to know the people behind the artwork.
