Born in 1988, Benjamin Courtault is a French illustrator currently based in Paris. He graduated from the Universität der Künste in Berlin 2013. Through his colourful, highly-detailed narrative illustrations, Benjamin explores psychedelic stories and creates a unique atmosphere.

He is particularly interested in the printing process and often creates handcrafted silkscreen printed books and booklets, including: « Blind days » 2011, « La descente » 2013, « Le lac le lapin et le pêcheur » 2015. Benjamin also illustrates for newspapers and magazines. In 2016, his illustrated book « Plötzlich Funkstille » was published by Kunstanstifter Verlag, Germany.
