Eda is a London based artist from Istanbul. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2007, she has been working as a freelance illustrator. Editorial illustration has been a major outlet for her work, her style of mixing traditional printmaking techniques with digital collage has led to commissions for a range of clients including the Telegraph, Laurence King Publishing, Creative Review, Time Out, Australian Financial Review, Photoshop Creative, and Cent. She has been exhibited at D&AD New Blood, London Design Week, and Illustrative Zurich 08 where she was one of 20 young illustrators selected from a worldwide pool of submissions. More recently her magazine and editorial work got shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards 2009. Eda is currently enrolled in a masters degree at Central Saint Martins and is a founding contributor to Nobrow, a new illustration publishing venture based in East London.
